Leeds United fans all say the same thing in response to James Justin signing
Leeds United supporters have reacted to the news that the Premier League new boys have signed defender James Justin by demanding that their club recruit a new attacker.
Justin has become Daniel Farke’s 10th signing of the summer after Leeds acquired Lukas Nmecha, Jaka Bijol, Sebastiaan Bornauw, Gabriel Gudmundsson, Sean Longstaff, Anton Stach, Lucas Perri, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, and Noah Okafor.
The Whites reaped the benefits of their summer business when Nmecha scored from the penalty spot in their 1-0 win over Everton in their opening Premier League game on Monday, 18 August.
However, Leeds were beaten 5-0 by Arsenal on Saturday, 23 August, with recent acquisitions Perri, Gudmundsson, and Stach all featuring in the starting lineup.
The Elland Road club have a major opportunity to bounce back from their heavy defeat in North London when they face Championship outfit Sheffield Wednesday in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday, 26 August.
Sheffield Wednesday are facing financial difficulties under owner Dejphon Chansiri, who has consistently failed to pay his staff and player wages on time.
Consequently, former star players like Josh Windass and Djeidi Gassama have left Hillsborough this summer, meaning that Leeds should fancy their chances of beating Henrik Pedersen’s men.
Meanwhile, fresh acquisition Justin has earned bags of Premier League experience, thanks to his time with former club Leicester City.
The right-back made 36 top-flight appearances for the Foxes last season, notching two goals and two assists in the process.
However, his efforts could not prevent the East Midlands club from suffering an immediate relegation back to the Championship.

Leeds supporters demand attacker signing as James Justin announced
As well as signing defenders like Justin, Leeds have bolstered their forward line by recruiting players like former Everton striker Calvert-Lewin and ex AC Milan winger Okafor.
However, when Farke’s men revealed that they had signed Justin via X on Monday, 25 August, one supporter commented: “Marquee strike needed now”, while another fan said: “Onto a number 10 now by the way, and hopefully an ambitious one!”
