Leeds United have ‘regret’ over Raphinha deal as ‘crippling’ details revealed – sources
Leeds United will have a “tinge of regret” for not including a sell-on clause in their sale of Raphinha to Barcelona, sources have told Football Insider.
Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, senior transfer correspondent Pete O’Rourke revealed that the Yorkshire side are now at risk of missing out on a huge payday from their former star.
Leeds sold Raphinha to Barcelona for a reported fee of £55million in the 2022 summer transfer window, but the Brazilian has struggled to settle down in Catalonia.
As revealed by Football Insider, Saudi Pro League giants Al-Hilal are readying a mammoth bid for Raphinha which would deal a ‘crippling’ transfer blow to Leeds.

The Yorkshire outfit did not include a sell-on clause in their agreement with Barcelona which could have landed them millions.
It is believed that Al-Hilal are willing to offer a deal worth up to £86million to Barca for Raphinha and are also ready to triple his current salary.

Premier League duo Liverpool and Tottenham have also been linked to Raphinha, but Al-Hilal are ready to make the first move for his signature this summer.
Raphinha has scored five goals and made 10 assists for Barca across 28 appearances this season.
