Leeds United may have already landed Jesse Marsch replacement after source’s update today – pundit

Jesse Marsch cannot complain if he is sacked by Leeds United during the World Cup break.

That’s according to former Hibernian striker Tam McManus, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the American’s future.

On Saturday (12 November) sources told Football Insider that Marsch is still on shaky ground at Leeds United despite overseeing two consecutive Premier League wins.

Leeds chiefs are still not convinced and some among the hierarchy fear the club could be dragged into a season-long relegation battle if they do not make a managerial change during the upcoming mid-season break.

McManus insists Marsch cannot complain if he does lose his job.

“I have said for a number of weeks now that managers will lose their jobs during this break,” McManus told Football Insider‘s Ben Wild.

“What is interesting is that since I said that, Leeds have won a couple of games and it looks like they are on the right track now.

“What I am certain of, is that there will be high-level meetings between the board members at some point over the next few weeks.

“Who knows what might happen then? They might have someone in mind to come in, we don’t know. I always said if Leeds drop towards that bottom three then Marsch will go.

“They have been down there so I think everything is on the table. I don’t think Marsch can complain if he does go, it hasn’t been a great season.”

Going into the weekend, Leeds had won four of their 13 Premier League games.

Marsch has been in charge since February.
