Leeds United news: Kalvin Phillips’ agent may push through Man United move after latest – pundit
Kalvin Phillips’ agent may convince him to quit Leeds United and join Man United in the summer, according to Gabby Agbonlahor.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England attacker claimed Phillips would rather join another top club but would not rule out a move to Man United.
The Manchester Evening News reported last week (7 April) the Old Trafford club are working on a deal for the 26-year-old.

He is under contract with Leeds until the summer of 2024 and negotiations over a new deal have become protracted.
Man United are set for a major summer overhaul under a new manager and Agbonlahor has claimed Phillips could play a big part of that.
Asked for his verdict on the midfielder’s future, he told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “He probably would want to choose someone else rather than Man United because of the rivalry.
“But if Man United were the only option I’m sure his agent would convince him to sign. Man United are still Man United, people want to play for them.
“If he can get another club who are still a top club, he would try and do that but I wouldn’t rule Man United out.
“He would have the chance to be the main man, everything would go through him in that defensive midfield role. They badly need a player like that.”

Phillips has played over 200 times for his boyhood club but has struggled with injuries this term.
He has not started a game since December but has come off the bench in their last two Premier League games.
