Leeds United news: Pundit tips takeover ‘soon’ after ‘£100m’ Radrizzani ‘sacrifice’ revealed

Andrea Radrizzani will sell his shares in Leeds United “sooner rather than later” after he addressed the issue on social media.

That’s according to former Whites stopper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the club’s short-term future.

Tweeting on 11 March, in reply to a fan, Radrizzani revealed he had invested £100m into Leeds United.

He also admitted he would step away from the cub when he believes someone else can do a better job.

Kenny insists Radrizzani has every right to defend his leadership and claimed it might not be long before he departs the club.

“I think we saw the fans turn on the ownership for the first time after Bielsa went,” Kenny told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.

“That Villa game was not nice to watch. Obviously, he has felt the need to address this on social media.

“That’s fine, it’s up to him to do that and fair enough, he has given so much to that club.

“He’s to thank for a lot of the success they have had even if the decision to sack Bielsa didn’t go down well.

“That fact that he’s spoken about it at all tells me he will sell sooner rather than later.

“Whenever it happens he will sell to the right people as well because he does care for Leeds.”
