Leeds United plan to accept Rasmus Kristensen offer – sources

Rasmus Kristensen is not likely to fit into Daniel Farke’s plans at Leeds United – even if they are promoted to the Premier League, sources have told Football Insider.

The Whites have recently taken a big step towards promotion from the Championship – moving within just three points of league leaders Leicester.

Kristensen, 26, is currently out on loan at AS Roma after leaving Elland Road following relegation from the Premier League last summer (2023).

He has made 27 appearances across all competitions for the Italian side this term, notching one goal and two assists.

However, the right-back was not included in Roma’s Europa League squad for the group or knockout stage.

Leeds ready to accept Kristensen offers this summer

It is believed Leeds are ready to accept offers for several of their on-loan stars – including Kristensen.

Farke is keen to add more quality to his Leeds squad in the event of promotion back to the Premier League this term.

The German will also look to remain loyal to the players who have served him well in his Elland Road tenure so far.

Kristensen joined Leeds from RB Salzburg for a reported fee of around £10million in 2022 and he made 30 appearances across all competitions last season, notching three goals and one assist.

The 20-cap Denmark international is under contract with the Whites until June 2027.

He is currently out with a muscle injury at Roma and could miss up to a month of action.
