Leeds United ready to accept permanent Brenden Aaronson offer – sources

Brenden Aaronson has no future at Leeds United, sources have told Football Insider.

It is believed that the USA international, 23, is not expected to play for his parent club again after his season-long loan move to Bundesliga side Union Berlin ends.

The Whites fully expect him to depart Elland Road for a new club in the summer, either permanently or on another loan move.

Well-placed sources have told Football Insider that Daniel Farke’s side will put the attacking midfielder up for sale and are planningd to accept any appropriate offers.

Leeds United make Brenden Aaronson decision

Aaronson was one of a swathe of Leeds stars to depart the club on loan after they were relegated from the Premier League last season.

He secured a move to the Champions League-qualifying Berlin, but he and his side have struggled this season.

Across 28 appearances in all competitions, the attacker has managed just one goal.

Aaronson has made the starting line-up just six times in the league this season, earning just one start in his last eight outings.

He had an underwhelming debut campaign for Leeds last season after his reported £24.7million move from Red Bull Salzburg.

In 41 appearances in all competitions, he scored two goals and provided three assists and was dropped to the bench in the last six league games of Leeds’ disastrous season.
