Leeds United tipped to pull off £27m Josko Gvardiol deal after source’s reveal – pundit
Leeds United will sign RB Leipzig defender Josko Gvardiol this summer.
That’s according to former West Ham hitman Frank McAvennie, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the Whites’ transfer plans.
On Thursday (14 April) Football Insider revealed Leeds United are stepping up their interest in signing Gvardiol.

The Premier League club have tracked the Croatia international, 20, for more than two years and came close to signing him in the summer of 2020.
Leeds have conceded 68 goals in the Premier League this season, more than any other side.
McAvennie insists it only makes sense the Whites are looking to improve their backline.
“The main thing in any team is, if you keep clean sheets you have half a chance of winning,” McAvennie told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“It’s the core of the team and Leeds have been missing the stability there for a decent amount of time now.
“If you get a defence that can go out there and battle then you are laughing.
“Leeds have been great going forward but their defending has been poor, frankly.
“This doesn’t surprise me whatsoever. I don’t know much about this boy but he’s at a good club.
“It’s a signing I can see happening because Leeds have the money to spend.”

Gvardiol has made 39 appearances for RB Leipzig this season and is valued at £27million.
Jesse Marsch will be very familiar with the defender from his time working within the Red Bull multi-club network.
