Things have ‘got to change’ at Leeds after Phillips training ground reveal – pundit
Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa cannot expect to continue with the same methods and expect different results.
That is the view of ex-Whites goalkeeper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about recent remarks made by Kalvin Phillips.
As per the Yorkshire Evening Post on 25 October, he revealed that Bielsa “never wants to change” and is “always the same, winning or losing”.

Leeds won hearts and minds last term with their unapologetic, full-throttle approach which helped secure a 9th-place finish.
But they have won just one of their opening nine matches in the Premier League this season and are 17th in the table.
Kenny insists that Bielsa must abandon his intransigence if he wants to turn the club’s fortunes around.
“They have got to change something,” he told Football Insider correspondent Adam Williams.
“When you’re winning, you don’t fix something that ain’t broken. But they are 17th in the league and have won one match all season.
“It will be a big test this week because they have Norwich and they’ll be expected to win that.
“If they aren’t changing things and are sticking to their principles, they need to think about having a shake-up.
“Teams know how they play now. The same thing happened with Sheffield United when they got second season syndrome.

“The standard is so high in the Premier League that teams work out how to deal with how you play.
“There’s no point in carrying on with the way you’re training and lining your team up if it isn’t working.”
