Leeds United transfer news: Club ready to accept Jack Harrison offer after Everton latest

Could Jack Harrison return to Leeds United next season after his impressive loan spell at Everton?

Jack Harrison could play for Leeds United again next season following his exceptional form for Everton, sources have told Football Insider.

The 27-year-old has been a key member of the Toffees’ squad this season and has emerged as one of Sean Dyche’s most dependable stars.

However, well-placed sources have told Football Insider that the winger will be of interest to clubs in the Premier League and across Europe next summer – especially if the Whites remain in the Championship.

It is believed that Leeds would be open to selling Harrison permanently at the end of the season regardless of if they achieve promotion back to the Premier League.

As revealed by Football Insider (9 February), Everton are keen to sign the Englishman permanently after his loan, but this has been thrown into major doubt amid continued uncertainty regarding relegation and their pending takeover.

Harrison was keen to remain in the top flight following Leeds’ relegation last season, but should Daniel Farke’s side get promoted, he could return to the fold at Elland Road.

However, a clean break could be optimal for both parties, meaning Harrison could follow the likes of Luis Sinisterra to make a permanent exit following a loan move.

Harrison has scored four goals and provided three assists across 25 appearances in all competitions for Everton this season.

He bagged the Toffees’ first equaliser in their 2-2 draw against Tottenham earlier this month ((3 February) which brought his league goal haul to three.

Leeds

Leeds sit third in the Championship table following their emphatic 3-0 win against Rotherham United on Saturday (10 February).

They are next in action away against Swansea City on Tuesday evening (13 February).
