Leeds United transfer news: Whites rejected ‘£120m bids’ for three stars in January – Danny Mills
Danny Mills has claimed Leeds United turned down £120million worth of bids for three of their stars in January.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Whites and England defender revealed the club turned down big-money offers for Raphinha and Kalvin Phillips.
A West Ham source told Football Insider last Saturday (29 January) the club had a concrete interest in Raphinha.

The Sun reported the next day (30 January) the Hammers were making a record-breaking £50million bid for Phillips.
Mills, who is well connected at former club Leeds, revealed fresh details of what went on in the window.
“I’m led to believe that Leeds turned down bids for £120million accumulatively for players in the transfer window,” Mills told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.
“That’s £50million-plus for Raphinha and £50million-plus for Kalvin Phillips and maybe a little for somebody else.
“Again, were they really going to let them go in January? Was it West Ham just bidding knowing full well they’re not going to get the player but it looks good and it looks like they’re trying.
“I suggest there might be a little bit of that from West Ham, playing to the audience and looking ambitious.
“It’s ok throwing bids out there but if you’ve got no real chance of making those moves happen then it’s a little bit of a smokescreen.”

Raphinha and Phillips are both under contract at Elland Road until the summer of 2024.
Football Insider revealed yesterday (4 February) Leeds are confident of securing Raphinha to a new contract that will make him the club’s best-paid player.
In other news, a Leeds United star has been tipped to join a Champions League giant in the summer after a ‘ridiculous’ development.
