Leeds vs Cardiff City: Manager will be sacked if his team lose – O’Rourke
Cardiff City boss Erol Bulut will be sacked if the club fail to get a result against Leeds United on Saturday (September 21), sources have told Football Insider.
Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke revealed that the 49-year-old has one game left to save his skin after a dismal start to the season at the Championship club.
The Welsh outfit are still looking for their first win of the season, losing four and drawing one of their opening five Championship games.
Owner Vincent Tan could be ready to wield the axe amid fears Bulut has lost the dressing room at the Cardiff City Stadium.

The Turkish manager took charge of the club in June 2023 following an 18-month spell with Super Lig side Gaziantep FK.
An impressive pre-season that saw the club beat German side Hamburg 3-0 and draw with Hertha Berlin 1-1 has quickly been forgotten by the Cardiff fans.

The club have only scored a single goal so far this season, albeit an important one in their 1-1 draw with arch-rivals Swansea City.
Their next game against promotion hopefuls Leeds United couldn’t have come at a worse time for Bulut, with Daniel Farke’s side looking to redeem themselves after a frustrating 1-0 loss to Burnley on Saturday (September 14).
