Medical expert: ‘Big changes’ coming at Leicester City after Jonny Evans reveal
Jonny Evans’ return to action for Leicester City within the next six weeks will likely usher in an upswing in results.
That is the view of injury expert Ben Dinnery, who runs the Premier Injuries site and has a background in medicine and data analysis.
Evans, who has struggled with various injuries across 2021-22, has not featured since the 4-0 defeat to Man City on 12 December last year.

The Northern Ireland centre-back, 34, recently underwent surgery to correct a hamstring issue.
As quoted by Leicestershire Live last Friday (4 February), manager Brendan Rodges confirmed that Evans will be absent for “up to six weeks”
Leicester were beaten 2-0 by Liverpool last night (10 February) and have won just two of their last 12 games in all competitions.
Dinnery suggests that the Foxes will see a dramatic upturn once Evans returns to fitness.
“In the ideal world, they’ll err on the side of caution,” he told Football Insider‘s Adam Williams.
“But realistically, we’re talking about a Leicester team who only Watford have conceded more than in the last 20 or so Premier League games.
“The 4-1 defeat to Nottingham Forest reaffirmed the notion that big changes need to happen to tighten up at the back.
“He is an integral part of that backline. You’ll see a huge upturn in results when he is a part of that again.
“Now that they’re out of the cup and aren’t going to do anything in the league, the Conference League may be their only chance of silverware.
“So he could be looking towards targeting those games to appease their fans who are rightly frustrated this season.”

Evans has notched two goals and one assist in 15 outings this term.
His Leicester side are 12th in the league and face Randers in the Europa Conference League last 16 later this month.
