Leny Yoro impressive as 4/10 suffers: Manchester United player ratings vs Fulham
Manchester United are still waiting for their first Premier League win of the season after they were pegged back by Fulham at Craven Cottage.
Bruno Fernandes uncharacteristically missed from the penalty spot in the first half after Calvin Bassey had fouled Mason Mount.
Matheus Cunha looked lively early on and tested Bernd Leno, though the break through came from a corner in the second half when Leny Yoro climbed well and the ball beat the Fulham goalkeeper via a deflection off Rodrigo Muniz.
Fulham equalised to claim a point when Emile Smith-Rowe fired home from close-range to maintain their unbeaten start.

Altay Bayindir concerns remain
Altay Bayindir – 6
Made a couple of smart reaction saves and set up a chance for Matheus Cunha with a delightful long-ball. However, Bayindir’s weak piece of goalkeeping as highlighted against Arsenal was still on display.
Leny Yoro (Off for Harry Maguire 87′) – 8
Yoro will be claiming the header as his first goal for Man United, despite a deflection off Muniz, to go alongside an excellent defensive display from the 19-year-old.
Matthijs de Ligt – 5
Was having a solid game before the Fulham goal. Did not clear his lines at his near post allowing the substitute Emile Smith-Rowe to score with his first touch.
Luke Shaw (Off for Ayden Heaven 87′) – 5
Uncomfortable at times defending and lost a few duels. Yet to get to his best in the opening two matches.
Patrick Dorgu – 6
Made one vital block from a corner when Bayindir was flapping and was again weak from a set-piece. A solid display and another promising performance at wing-back from the 20-year-old.
Amad Diallo (Off for Diogo Dalot 52′) – 6
Had one chance to put the ball into the penalty area, and he elected to shoot straight at Leno. Wasn’t as effective as he has proved to be in the final third.
Matheus Cunha fizzes out after lively start
Casemiro (Off for Benjamin Sesko 53′) – 6
Ineffective in the middle of the park and pulled off just after half-time. Man United need legs in the middle of the park and Casemiro does not offer that.
Bruno Fernandes – 4
A rare penalty miss for Bruno Fernandes, who skied his spot kick over the crossbar. Felt he was put off by the referee in the build-up. Limited attacking impact and that penalty miss cost his team all three points.
Mason Mount (Off for Manuel Ugarte 70′)- 5
Won the Man United penalty after he was fouled inside the box by Calvin Bassey. Otherwise was quiet and ineffective.
Bryan Mbeumo – 5
Was too largely ineffective before his pinpoint corner led to the opening goal. Had a lively debut against Arsenal, but could not build on that here.
Matheus Cunha – 7
Struck an early effort over the crossbar, and moments later hit a post in a bright start for the forward. Denied superbly by Leno. Influence decreased as the match wore on.
Benjamin Sesko impact limited

Substitutes
Diogo Dalot (On for Amad Diallo 52′) – 4
Had a greater attacking impact down the right side than Amad Diallo but the Italian did make the error leading to the Fulham goal.
Benjamin Sesko (On for Casemiro 53′) – 6
Given little service from his team mates in a quiet substitute appearance for the club’s new striker.
Manuel Ugarte (On for Mason Mount 70′) – 5
Was brought on to protect the back four, but Fulham scored just three minutes later. Another underwhelming showing.
Harry Maguire (On for Leny Yoro 87′) – 6
Nearly scored with his first touch from a corner which would have been the winner.
Ayden Heaven (On for Luke Shaw 87′) – 6
A good run out for the 18-year-old.
