Levy backed to complete ’10’ Tottenham deals by Monday night after source’s reveal – pundit
Daniel Levy may be able to sign 10 new players for Tottenham before Monday’s transfer cut-off, according to Danny Mills.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Leeds United and England defender suggested Spurs are desperate and may end up with players who do not fit into the club’s long-term plan.
A Tottenham source told Football Insider on Monday (24 January) Antonio Conte is putting “huge pressure” on Levy to bring in new players before the transfer window slams shut.

This site reported yesterday (26 January) they are now in advanced talks to sign Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat on a loan-to-buy deal.
“January is a very, very difficult time to get players in,” Mills told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.
“Prices are overinflated and you are a little bit desperate. What you think you need now isn’t necessarily what you need for next season.
“Sometimes you’re stuck between a rock and a hard place. What you need now and what you can get now is not what you need in the long term. It’s always a tricky dilemma.
“There’s not long to go but you wouldn’t be surprised if Daniel Levy did 10 deals before then. We know that he is a shrewd operator.
“It wouldn’t surprise me if they knick a loan deal or a couple of loans on Sunday or Monday.”

Conte has not been able to add any players to the squad he inherited from Nuno Espirito Santo at the beginning of November.
The last player Spurs signed was Emerson Royal in August of last year (2021) and he has found himself out of the starting XI in recent weeks.
