Levy told he ‘has got the right man’ after Tottenham’s Paratici talks reveal this week – pundit
Paul Robinson has backed Daniel Levy to hand Antonio a blank cheque to seal new signings at Tottenham this month.
The former Spurs goalkeeper, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, insisted the Lilywhites finally have a “world-class” manager who they should back to the hilt in the transfer window.
Speaking last Thursday (30 December), as quoted by football.london, Conte insisted Tottenham need new signings this month to “improve the quality” of the squad.

He also revealed he is set to hold transfer talks with Levy and Fabio Paratici this month.
Robinson has suggested the Spurs board should “give him what he wants” to bolster the side.
“I think he’s proved and he deserves the opportunity to go into the market at the level he wants to,” Robinson told Football Insider’s Dylan Childs.
“He’s been brought in to do a job, they’ve got a world-class manager who matches the rest of the infrastructure of the club. They now need to get the team right.
“The manager’s right, the stadium’s right, the training ground’s right. They need to get it right on the pitch.
“For the first time in how many years, you’ve got the right man to do that. You look at the world’s best managers and Spurs have now got one.
“He deserves to be backed in January, he deserves to be given what he wants to do what he wants with the squad.
“I suspect very strongly those talks were had before he agreed to take over at Spurs. He knows what he’s able to do. It’s hard to put a figure on it because you don’t know what players are going to leave.
“In January, it’s very hard to get another team’s best player. You’re going to end up paying over the odds for a player.
“When you look at the Tottenham squad, it’s not good enough. It’s not strong enough but there is a lot of quality in there. If you let one or two of those go, you’re going to have to get better players.”

Spurs currently sit sixth in the Premier League table.
However, they have two games in hand over Arsenal and West Ham in fourth and fifth respectively.
