Lisandro Martinez sends six-word message to Man United fans pre-Arsenal

Lisandro Martinez has sent a message to Man United fans via social media after their 4-0 win against Everton on Sunday (December 1) in the Premier League.

The 20-time champions won their first league game under new boss Ruben Amorim after braces from Marcus Rashford and Joshua Zirkzee, and Martinez is now looking to the future.

The 26-year-old wrote, “We continue to grow all together,” giving United fans hope that the club will continue to make positive strides forward.

The Premier League giants are undefeated under Amorim after drawing against Ipswich and defeating Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League, continuing on from the four-game run without a loss that Ruud Van Nistelrooy had put together.

United have climbed to ninth in the Premier League table and sit just four points away from Brighton in fourth place.

Amorim’s side will be back in action on Wednesday (4 December) against title hopefuls Arsenal, who will be aiming to keep the pressure on Liverpool at the top of the league.

Martinez started against Everton after missing the Ipswich game due to injury, but Amorim will be without the Argentina international on Wednesday night.

The central defender joins Kobbie Mainoo on the suspended list after picking up his fifth yellow card against Everton.

The pair will be available again on Saturday (7 December) for Nottingham Forest’s visit to Old Trafford.

Martinez has been a regular feature in the United team this season regardless of who has been in charge of the team.
