Brendan Rodgers should form another reunion at Celtic by raiding former side Liverpool with a late move to sign midfielder Kevin Stewart.
Stewart, 23, is surplus to requirements at Anfield after making just nine first-team appearances under manager Jurgen Klopp last season, and he needs a move to reignite his career.
Times correspondent Paul Joyce revealed on his personal Twitter account that the holding midfielder was in fact on his way to sign for Championship side Hull City.
It is said that a deal to sign the former Tottenham star would cost up to £8million, despite his lack of Premier League experience with the Merseyside giants.
