Stewart’s career is currently in need of a kick start and he may look at Scott Sinclair’s move north of the border as an example of reignited one’s time in football.
Former Swansea ace Sinclair joined Man City after starring for the Welsh side, but his career declined from them on in, ending with relegation during a spell with Aston Villa.
But last season, after a move north of the border, Sinclair scored 25 goals and Stewart will be hoping that if Celtic do indeed look to sign him, he can do the same.
