Liverpool ace Federico Chiesa sends cryptic message to fans after report
Liverpool winger has taken to social media to squash rumours that he’s unhappy at the club after a frustrating start to the season.
The 27-year-old hasn’t featured for the club since their 5-1 League Cup win over West Ham earlier in the season, in which he provided the assist for fellow injured player Diogo Jota.
It remains unclear exactly when the Italy international will return to action for Arne Slot’s Premier League leaders as he continues to nurse a muscle injury.
Liverpool will have known about his injury history before they signed him in the summer, with the winger famously missing an entire season for Juventus after tearing his cruciate ligament in 2022.
According to Italian outlet MilanLive, Chiesa is unhappy with life in Merseyside, and AC Milan are willing to offer him a way out in a deal that would see midfielder Tijjani Reijnders head in the other direction.
Federico Chiesa all smiles at Liverpool
With only 18 Premier League minutes to his name, Chiesa has a long way to go to convince Slot he can be a pivotal player for the team.
It may have been a tough start to life at his new club, but Chiesa took to Instagram to let fans know that he has no plans on calling it quits just yet.

Liverpool may well need Chiesa to find his fitness soon as they prepare for the hectic festive season, kicking off with their game against Southampton on Sunday (November 24).
For now, though, they’ve managed to make do without him, sitting at the summit of the Premier League table with 28 points from their first 11 games.
