Liverpool predicted XI v Brighton – Gravenberch dropped, 2 changes
Liverpool travel to Brighton for their final away game of the Premier League season on Monday, 19 May.
The Reds successfully wrapped up their top-flight title with a thrilling 5-1 win over Tottenham last month, but have subsequently endured a two-game winless run.
Arne Slot’s men were beaten 3-1 by Chelsea on 4 May before being held to a 2-2 draw by Arsenal on 11 May despite establishing a 2-0 lead.
The Merseyside outfit are vying to earn their first away win since a 1-0 triumph over Leicester City on 20 April, when the exit-bound Trent Alexander-Arnold scored.

Slot to drop Gravenberch, Curtis Jones retains starting spot
Slot has almost the entirety of his Liverpool squad to choose from on Monday, as defender Joe Gomez is the only injury doubt.
But in recent weeks, with the Premier League title already secured, the Dutchman has shown he is now more open to squad rotation.
Opponent | Result |
Tottenham (H) | 5-1 W |
Chelsea (A) | 3-1 L |
Arsenal (H) | 2-2 D |
With that in mind, Slot could give Gravenberch a rare rest, allowing Alexis Mac Allister to return to the lineup alongside homegrown talent Curtis Jones.
The Liverpool boss could also make another alteration to the engine room, with Dominik Szoboszlai making way for Harvey Elliott.
Selecting Elliott would allow the 46-year-old to take another serious look at the Englishman, whose only start of the Premier League season came against Chelsea earlier this month.

Liverpool will be eager to beat Brighton
There is no denying that Slot has done a remarkable job in his first season in the Anfield dugout, leading Liverpool to Premier League glory.
Ultimately, the Reds’ remaining games do not count for anything other than pride in Merseyside, but Slot’s men will not want their season to peter out.
If the Anfield club fail to beat Brighton on Monday, then they run the risk of failing to win a match since they were crowned Premier League champions on 27 April.
In their last game of the season, the Reds take on a Crystal Palace outfit who will be in an extremely buoyant mood after beating Manchester City in Saturday’s historic FA Cup final and could have what it takes to defeat Slot’s men.
But ending the season with a potential four-game winless run is non-ideal for a Liverpool side who will want to establish momentum before battling for more silverware next term.
