Liverpool could sign ‘next Wilfried Zaha’ in January as preliminary move made – pundit
Paul Robinson has backed Liverpool to make a move for Ajax forward Mohammed Kudus in the January transfer window.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Spurs and England number one said the 22-year-old is “not too dissimilar” to Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha.
Kudus impressed at the World Cup, scoring twice for Ghana against South Korea.

According to The Athletic‘s David Ornstein (12 December), Liverpool made informal contact with the player last summer.
The winger is said to be keen on leaving Ajax when the transfer window re-opens.
When asked by Football Insider for his thoughts on Liverpool’s interest, Robinson said: “Kudus is a top-class player.
“He is raw and he has a lot of talent. If you listen to him and read some of his quotes, he thinks he’s better than Neymar. To be fair to him, he went some way to backing up those quotes with the way that he played.
“I have impressed with him at Ajax. He is direct, can score and is versatile. He can play anywhere across the front line. Jurgen Klopp likes players like that.

“He also has Champions League experience. I think he would be an excellent addition to any side.
“Liverpool have a lot of quality in that area but Kudus would give them something else. Do you know who I’d compare him, Zaha at Palace, he is not too dissimilar.”
