Liverpool could turn attention to £50m-valued star after Jude Bellingham update – pundit
Liverpool may focus their efforts on signing AS Monaco’s Aurelien Tchouameni in light of Jude Bellingham’s £100million valuation.
That is the view of former Spurs and England number one Paul Robinson, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about Liverpool’s hunt for a new centre-midfielder.
Speaking on the Kenn7 YouTube channel (24 March), The Times’ Paul Joyce Borussia Dortmund value Bellingham at £100million amid interest from the Reds.

A German source has since told Football Insider (30 March) the club are also making progress on agreeing new terms with the England star.
According to The Athletic‘s David Ornstein (7 January), Liverpool are also keeping tabs on France international Tchouameni.
The 22-year-old is said to be valued in the region of £50million by AS Monaco.
When asked if that represented better value for money, Robinson told Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs:
“That will be the question the club’s recruitment department are looking at. They have to decide whether he represents better value for money.
“Every club has a pecking order when it comes to transfer targets. The director of football will have a list with numerous names on it.
“I think £60million for a player of Tchouameni’s quality is not a bad price. He is an amazing young player and is one of Europe’s best.
“If you can pick him up for £50million and Bellingham is going to cost £100million, the difference is huge.”
