Liverpool expected to sanction Fabinho exit after journalist’s update – pundit
Paul Robinson has backed Liverpool to sell Fabinho if a move for Declan Rice hinges upon it.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Spurs and England number one said the timing of both deals would be difficult though.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are in the market for midfield reinforcements heading into 2023.

Football Insider revealed on 21 November that the Reds are keeping close tabs on Declan Rice with a view to a move next year.
According to journalist Neil Jones, speaking on Redmen TV (24 November), Fabinho could exit Anfield if Rice is to come in.
When asked by Football Insider for his assessment of the latest, Robinson said: “If Liverpool have the opportunity to get Declan Rice, they have to take it.
“If that involves selling Fabinho so be it. In a straight swap, you trade Fabinho for Declan Rice.
“The difficulty would be trying to sell Fabinho and sign Rice simultaneously. Imagine if the worst happened and they sold Fabinho without getting Rice. That can happen with these sorts of transfers so they would have to be careful. It is a fine line.

“Rice will not be a January signing. It will be one that is done in the summer. Liverpool need a midfielder in January though.
“There is also a lot of uncertainty regarding a possible takeover. Will they have the funds to do the deals they want if there isn’t a takeover before next summer?”
