Liverpool facing D-day after superstar transfer update – pundit
Liverpool may face a Man United-like rebuild in the coming seasons with the futures of several stars up in the air.
That’s according to former Leeds United stopper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the problems Liverpool may face in the coming seasons.
Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah are both about to enter the final 12 months of their contracts at Anfield.

It has been widely reported that Mane, 30, has chosen to leave the club amid interest from Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.
Also, according to The Athletic‘s James Pearce (1 June), Salah, 29, will leave Liverpool next summer unless he receives a “significantly improved” contract offer.
Key players Virgil van Dijk, Joel Matip, Thiago Alcantara and Jordan Henderson are also 30 or older.
When asked if the current Liverpool squad may need an overhaul in the near future, Kenny told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild, “All clubs go through that, Man United are doing it now.
“It’s sometimes hard to recover if you don’t get your recruitment right. If Mane goes and he is replaced by Jarrod Bowen, it’s like for like.
“But all of these players at some point will need replacing. They have a brilliant bunch of players but it will be interesting to see what happens with Liverpool over the next season or two.

“Salah’s future is up in the air, Mane is looking like he could leave.
“It will be interesting to see how they replace those players and how those replacements settle in.”
In other news, Liverpool have been quoted ‘£150million+’ to sign Son Heung-min by an expert after forward’s exit stance is reported.
