Liverpool fans are taken aback as Jurgen Klopp lands shock new job

Liverpool fans have been left surprised as well as divided after Jurgen Klopp landed a shock new job.

Red Bull announced on Wednesday that the 57-year-old will become the new Global Head of Soccer at Red Bull starting in January.

Klopp is going to be in charge of the strategic management of Red Bull at the international level for clubs such as RB Leipzig and New York Red Bulls.

The German has been on a break since leaving his role as Liverpool manager at the end of last season, with Arne Slot having taking his position in the Anfield dugout.

Klopp made it clear that he wanted to rest and had no interest in taking up another managerial role in the immediate future, and this new job is different from that.

However, the news has split the opinion of Liverpool fans who aren’t sure what to make of his decision.
