
‘Donkey’, ‘Should never wear the jersey again’ – Liverpool fans destroy one player after 5-2 win

Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to pan Dejan Lovren after their team demolished Roma 5-2 in the Champions League semi-final first leg on Tuesday night.
Doubles from Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino, and a Sadio Mane goal, put Jurgen Klopp’s side in total control of the Anfield clash before two late Roma goals gave the shellshocked visitors a glimmer of hope ahead of the second leg in Italy next Wednesday.
Lovren was at fault for the first Roma goal after 81 minutes when he misjudged the flight of a long ball, which was seized upon by Edin Dzeko, who expertly chested down and guided into the net.
This prompted a torrent of criticism of the Croatia international, who Klopp claimed afterwards had otherwise been faultless as the home side produced a sensational attacking display.
