Liverpool fans are raging at Curtis Jones after he missed a gilt-edged chance against Crystal Palace on Sunday (14 April).

The midfielder was put through on goal in the 75th minute of the match at Anfield with his side losing 1-0 following Eberechi Eze’s opener.

But the 23-year-old fired his shot wide, much to the shock of the majority of those watching on from the pitch and the stadium.

The Reds suffered a massive blow to their Premier League title chances with the shock defeat, with the Merseyside outfit now third in the table.

Liverpool had a huge 21 shots at goal, but poor finishing and superb Palace defending meant they failed to find the back of the net, with only six shots on target registered.

For many Reds fans, the best chance fell to Jones, with those fans now tearing into the midfielder on social media.
