Trent Alexander-Arnold delivered a great performance for Liverpool’s Under-23s on Sunday – and the club’s supporters are excited about his future on Twitter.
The defender scored a fantastic goal in a 3-0 win against Sunderland as he continued to impress.
The 17-year-old burst down the right hand side into the box and clinically finished his shot.

Alexander-Arnold is developing into an exciting prospect in Liverpool’s youth set-up and some fans believe he could even rival Nathaniel Clyne in the first-team.
Liverpool fans took to Twitter to applaud the performance of the right-back and have tipped him to have a huge future.

Clyne is Liverpool’s clear first-choice option at right-back but Jurgen Klopp could consider using Alexander-Arnold as his understudy.
The youngster had already made 10 appearances for England’s Under-17 side and is continuing his impressive development.
Alexander-Arnold was born in Liverpool and is hopeful of playing in the first-team for his hometown club.
Klopp’s Liverpool team are built around a high intensity and high pressing game, something that the youngster would certainly fit.
