Liverpool hailed for ‘outstanding’ work as Fabio Carvalho terms agreed – pundit
Alan Hutton has tipped Liverpool to pull off another “outstanding” siging in Fulham winger Fabio Carvalho this summer.
The former Scotland star, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, suggested the 19-year-old could emulate Harvey Elliott’s move from London to Merseyside.
As revealed by Football Insider on Monday (28 March), Liverpool have agreed a deal in principle to sign Carvalho when his deal at Fulham expires this summer.

A recruitment source told this site personal terms have been agreed and a deal is in place, with both clubs reluctant to allow the fee to be decided by an independent tribunal.
A tribunal was needed following Elliott’s move from Craven Cottage to Anfield.
Hutton heralded the Reds’ transfer business and insisted Carvalho could be another standout addition.
Hutton told Football Insider’s Russell Edge: “I’m sure they’ll figure it out. It’s somebody they tried to get in January and it didn’t quite work out.
“So we always knew they were going to revisit it come the summer. He’s obviously an outstanding player, it’s there for all to see. Harvey Elliott came in the same way and look how he turned out.
“When you look at Liverpool and the transfer market, what they’ve done over recent years, it’s been outstanding.
“They have their man in their sights and they’ll get it done. I can’t see the compensation fee being a big problem.
“They’ll come to some sort of agreement, get it done, and hopefully he’ll take off like the rest of the boys that have come in.“

This site revealed in February that Liverpool were in talks over a deal to sign Carvalho failing in January.
The Reds had an £8million agreement in place but failed to push the move through before the winter transfer deadline.
