Liverpool have already sealed Divock Origi replacement as ‘outstanding’ deal agreed – pundit
Kevin Campbell has backed “outstanding” youngster Fabio Carvalho to fill the void left by Divock Origi’s imminent Liverpool exit.
The former Arsenal striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, conceded the 19-year-old is not a “like-for-like” replacement but insisted he “will get his chances” under Jurgen Klopp.
As revealed by Football Insider on Monday (28 March), Liverpool have struck a deal in principle to sign Carvalho when his deal at Fulham expires this summer.

A recruitment source told this site that personal terms have been agreed and a deal is in place, with both clubs reluctant to allow the fee to be decided by an independent tribunal.
Meanwhile, Football Insider revealed last month (23 March) that Liverpool have informed Origi they will let him go for free when his contract expires this summer.
When asked if Carvalho could fill the void left by the Belgian, Campbell told Football Insider‘s Ewan Kingsbury: “I think so.
“Origi has done so well over the last few years, especially during the African Cup of Nations.
“He’s run his contract down and really deserves that move away to prove himself.
“But Carvalho has been an outstanding player for Fulham, and to come to a club like Liverpool will only improve his game.
“It’s not a like-for-like replacement, but he can step into the shoes of Origi and mop up the minutes he would have played.
“He’s a real project player who will get his chances under Klopp, that’s for sure.”

Carvalho has been in fine form for Fulham this term, netting eight goals in 29 games.
Origi has managed five strikes for Liverpool despite playing just 533 minutes of action this season.
