Jude Bellingham tipped to reject Dortmund offer amid concrete Liverpool bid claim – pundit
Jude Bellingham will not sign a new contract at Borussia Dortmund if Liverpool make a concrete bid to sign him.
That is the view of former Premier League striker Noel Whelan, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the 18-year-old’s future.
A German source has told this site (30 March) that Borussia Dortmund are making progress on agreeing a new contract with Bellingham.

The teenager is already under contract at the Signal Iduna Park until the summer of 2025.
However, the Bundesliga giants are keen to extend their agreement with the midfielder amid interest from Liverpool and other clubs.
Whelan suggested Bellingham would jump at the chance to move to Anfield.
“I would be surprised if he signs a new long-term contract with Dortmund given that he knows there is Champions League teams in England that want him,” he told Football Insider‘s Russell Edge.
“I’m sure he’d love the chance to win league titles, FA Cups, League Cups and be in the knockout rounds of the Champions League every year. That move makes perfect sense to me.

“I can see him in that Liverpool team. To be honest, a player of that maturity and that talent, I can see him playing in any team.
“When you look at who would bring the best out of him, Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola come to mind. There is only a handful of teams I can see him leaving Dortmund for and Liverpool would be perfect for him.”
In other news, a pundit has claimed Liverpool could seal a Luis Diaz-like signing after source’s talks update.
