Liverpool news: Pundit can’t believe Mohamed Salah update – ‘what is going on?’
Frank McAvennie can’t understand why Sadio Mane wants to leave Liverpool this summer.
The former West Ham hitman, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the Reds possibly losing two “irreplaceable” players.
Mane and teammate Mohamed Salah are both about to enter the final 12 months of their contracts at Anfield.

It has been widely reported that Mane, 30, has chosen to leave the club amid interest from Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.
According to The Athletic‘s James Pearce (1 June), Salah, 29, will also leave Liverpool next summer unless he receives a “significantly improved” contract offer.
When asked why Mane and Salah would want to leave Liverpool, McAvennie told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild, “I don’t know.
“They all love Klopp so there hasn’t been a fallout with the manager. Both of their strikers want to leave, what is going on?
“If one of them was leaving then maybe you could surmise there has been a falling out, but both of them?
“They are possibly irreplaceable. Salah can play through the middle and out wide, it’s rare you get a player like that.
“Mane is just Mane, he is a wonderful talent and by all accounts, he is a great lad.
“He does so much work back home, he’s a wonderful guy. It’s the Liverpool fans now, you don’t know how they are going to react to that.”

Salah scored 23 goals during the 2012-22 Premier League season.
Mane scored 16 goals as the Reds finished runners-up to Man City.
