Liverpool news: Pundit hails Klopp after Luis Diaz reveal
Alan Hutton has heralded Jurgen Klopp for his “good management” of Luis Diaz since arriving at Liverpool.
The former Scotland defender, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, suggested the German manager made the right decision to leave the 25-year-old unused for the trip to Burnley.
As quoted by the Liverpool Echo on Monday (14 Feburary), Klopp revealed he left Diaz out the side due to the type of opposition the Clarets are.

The German manager dubbed the visit to Turf Moor a “real ‘Welcome to the Premier League’” for new players.
Klopp instead started Mo Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane in attack, while Diogo Jota came off the bench.
Hutton suggested the Liverpool boss’ management will be helping the new signing with his transition period at Anfield.
Hutton told Football Insider’s Russell Edge: “Klopp’s only brought him into the club in January so he’s only literally just turned up.
“We’ve seen what he’s capable of and what he can produce. It’s all of a high level, as we knew it would be.
“But Klopp can pick and choose. He wants to settle him in and make it as easy as possible for him. It doesn’t surprise me that he is picking his games and his minutes wisely.
“He’s got options there as well, remember. Battle-hardened players who know what it’s all about to go to Burnley on a cold night and know what it takes to win.
“That’s good management from him. It’s good management from Klopp. He knows his players, he knows what it’s all about and he’s got a very strong squad.
“He can rotate it whenever he wants. With that transition period, it makes it lot easier for Diaz in welcoming him in. He thinks home games might suit him better.”

Diaz has played twice for Liverpool so far, both at Anfield.
His debut came against Cardiff in the FA Cup, while he played the full 90 minutes against Leicester in his first league appearance.
