Liverpool news: Pundit issues ‘big’ claim after confirmed Mohamed Salah news before Arsenal clash

Jurgen Klopp has a “big” task on his hands if he wants to keep all five of his frontline Liverpool attackers happy, according to Danny Mills.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Man City and England full-back delivered his verdict after Klopp revealed Mohamed Salah will be fit for the trip to Arsenal tomorrow (16 March).

The 29-year-old was forced off midway through the second-half of Liverpool’s 2-0 win over Brighton & Hove Albion with an injury.

As quoted by club media today (15 March), Klopp confirmed he will be available for the game at Arsenal.

The win over Brighton was only the second time, Salah, Luis Diaz, Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Diogo Jota had been named in a matchday squad together.

Asked whether Klopp might have an issue keeping all five happy with only three forward slots up for grabs, Mills told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “In the past, Klopp has been quite clever in the way that he has rotated it.

“He rarely rotates Salah and Mane but often rotated Frimino and Jota’s come in.

“It’s a nice headache to have. This is what Pep Guardiola does, look at the players he has on the bench.

“Managing those egos, managing the team is one of the biggest parts of coaching at that level. You’ve got to keep 18, 19 or 20 players happy and of course, only 10 outfield players can start.

“Because they are still in all of the competitions there are more opportunities for games. Top-level players will play a minimum of 30 games.”
