Liverpool news: Pundit rubbishes ‘ridiculous’ Mohamed Salah claims
Mohamed Salah will not be dropped from the Liverpool starting XI despite his lack of goals in recent weeks.
That’s according to former Leeds United stopper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the Egyptian’s form.
Salah, 29, hasn’t scored in his last seven games after starting the season on fire.

Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino have both been in the goals recently, though the duo only made the bench in Saturday’s 3-2 FA Cup semi-final win over Man City.
As per WhoScored, Salah had three shots in that game but only found the target once.
Despite this run of form, Kenny insists Salah is too good to drop.
“He might not have been scoring the goals but you need to watch him,” Kenny told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“The way he plays, he drags players out of position which give his teammates the room to score.
“He attracts defenders and not a lot of other players do that as well as him.
“Defenders also hate playing against him and Liverpool are pretty much winning every game they play so why change it.
“I see why people are saying to drop him but I don’t think there is any reason to do it.
“He’s a phenomenal talent, dropping him would be ridiculous.”

Salah has scored 28 goals in 41 total outings for Liverpool this season.
The Reds are next in action against Manchester United on Tuesday (19 April).
