Liverpool news: Pundit verdict on Sadio Mane U-turning on exit after picture emerges
Paul Robinson cannot fathom why Sadio Mane wants to leave Liverpool this summer.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Spurs and England number one claimed the 30-year-old would be “leaving one of the best teams in the world.”
Mane has just over 12 months remaining on his contract at Anfield.

According to Fabrizio Romano (29 May), the Senegal international has decided to leave the Reds this summer as he wants a new challenge.
Bayern Munich are leading the race for his signature.
As pictured by GOAL (29 May), Mane cut a dejected figure during an open top bus parade through Liverpool on Sunday.
When asked by Football Insider if a U-turn could be on the cards after missing out on the Champions League, Robinson said: “I’m not sure.
“I just do not understand his mindset. He is leaving one of the best teams in the world.
“Yes, Bayern Munich are a huge club but playing in the Premier League with the best players in the world for a manager like Jurgen Klopp… I just don’t understand it.
“Listen, who knows what is going though the players head. Sometimes as a player you just want a fresh challenge.
“But from a football point of view, he is starting every week and playing well in one of if not the best teams in Europe.
“I cannot imagine Liverpool want to move it on. I find it vert strange in all honesty. He will be hugely missed.”
