Liverpool reach full agreements on three more deals – sources

Feyenoord assistant manager Sipke Hulshoff, head of performance Ruben Peeters and analyst Etienne Reijnen have agreed to join Liverpool, sources have told Football Insider.

They will follow Arne Slot to Anfield as part of his backroom staff, and will effectively replace outgoing coaches Pepijn Lijnders, Peter Krawietz and Andreas Kornmayer.

All the appointments are set to be announced soon, with Football Insider reporting on Saturday (27 April) that the Reds have agreed to pay Feyenoord almost £10million to bring Slot to Anfield.

Current Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will leave the club at the end of the season, having announced his decision to exit in January.

Liverpool agree deals with three new staff members

The Merseyside outfit confirmed that assistant managers Lijnders and Krawietz will also leave, alongside elite development coach Vitor Matos.

Outlining his reasons behind the timing of the announcement, Klopp emphasised the need for clarity in order to ease the transition in the dugout.

Incoming manager Slot currently has Feyenoord sitting second in the Eredivisie table, having guided his club to the Dutch Cup last month.

Liverpool meanwhile have slipped to third in the Premier League table and are also out of the Europa League following defeat to Atalanta.

But Klopp did guide the Reds to silverware this season, with the Anfield club having beaten Chelsea in the League Cup in February.
