Liverpool signing agreed: Lucas Clarke reacts after joining from Man City
Lucas Clarke has taken to social media to give his reaction to completing a move from Man City to Liverpool.
The young defender came through the youth ranks with the Premier League champions, but has now confirmed a move to one of their title rivals.
Taking to Instagram, Clarke confirmed he has now linked up with the Merseyside club, expressing his happiness at the deal, and his excitement to get underway with his new club.
At first-team level Arne Slot’s side currently sit top of the Premier League table, eight points clear of Man City in fourth, with a game in hand.
Initially though, the defender’s age means he will form part of the Under 16s squad at Liverpool to begin with (Daily Mirror).

This is not the first time that the Reds have swooped for an exciting young talent from one of their rivals in the past few months.
Back in September, Rio Mguhoma became another exciting young prospect to make the move to Merseyside as he joined from Chelsea.
Following that up with a deal such as this for Clarke shows that Liverpool are putting together an exciting array of young talent that could step-up to first-team level in the future.
Considering how well other youngsters such as Curtis Jones, Connor Bradley and Jarrell Quansah have fared since stepping up to the senior side recently, these deals should be exciting for fans.
It means there ought to be plenty more high-quality players coming through the ranks at Liverpool, who can make an impact for many years to come.
With those individuals being signed from direct rivals for silverware too, it could put the Anfield club in a very strong position when it comes to competition for trophies further down the line.
