Liverpool transfer news: Five forwards who could be signed to replace Luis Diaz as talks open
Liverpool have been handed a massive transfer blow, with Luis Diaz potentially leaving Anfield in the summer.
The Telegraph reported on Tuesday (9 April) that the 27-year-old could join PSG after talks with his agent.
Diaz has registered 13 goals and four assists from his 42 appearances in all competitions this season for the Reds.
Based on information from senior recruitment sources, Football Insider analyses five forwards that the Reds could sign this summer should they need to replace Diaz.
Pedro Neto (Wolves)

Wolves star Neto has been ravaged by injuries during his time in England, but the winger has been hugely impressive when available for the Midlands club.
The 24-year-old, who has three goals and 11 assists from 23 matches this season, has often won matches for Wolves on his own, with Football Insider revealing last month that Liverpool and Tottenham are among the top sides weighing up a move for the player this summer.
Jarrod Bowen (West Ham)
West Ham star Bowen has been a constant threat for the Hammers ever since joining from Hull City, with the winger on a superb tally of 19 goals this season.
The 27-year-old’s displays have caught the attention of England manager Gareth Southgate, and may have also caught the eye of the powers that be at Anfield.
Donyell Malen (Borussia Dortmund)

Borussia Dortmund winger Malen could be another forward that the Reds target in the summer transfer window, with the attacker on 13 goals for the season.
But sources have told Football Insider that the 25-year-old is wanted by Man United, although Liverpool could reignite their interest in the player after previous links.
Nico Williams (Athletic Bilbao)
Athletic Bilbao star Williams is enjoying a superb season in Spain, with the winger boasting six goals and 14 assists from his 30 matches in all competitions.
AS reported on Sunday (7 April) that Liverpool, Tottenham and Aston Villa are keeping tabs on the 21-year-old, who grabbed an assist as his side beat Mallorca to lift the Copa del Rey trophy on Saturday (6 April).
Jamal Musiala (Bayern Munich)

Although not an out-and-out winger, a move for Bayern Munich star Musiala could still be on the cards given the other talented attackers that are set to remain at Anfield if Diaz exits.
But the 21-year-old is versatile and can definitely occupy a wide role, with Football Insider revealing last month that he is attracting interest from both Liverpool and Man City.
