Liverpool transfer news: ‘Huge’ Jude Bellingham claim made after source’s update – expert
Liverpool will struggle to sign Jude Bellingham this summer with Erling Haaland’s Borussia Dortmund exit “likely”.
That’s according to former Leeds United defender Danny Mills, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the midfielder’s future.
A German source told Football Insider on Wednesday (30 March) Borussia Dortmund are making progress on agreeing a new contract with Bellingham amid strong interest from Liverpool.

The 18-year-old has established himself as a key member of Marco Rose’s squad, making 37 appearances in all competitions so far this season.
Haaland, 21, has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League in recent months.
Mills claims only one of the young Dortmund stars will leave the club this summer.
“He is a fantastic talent, you think he’s only 18 but he’s so experienced,” Mills told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“It’s not dissimilar to Dele Alli, he had bags of experience before he joined Tottenham.
“Bellingham is an 18-year-old with over 100 games under his belt, games at the top level.
“He’s played in the Champions League and he’s played for England so I’m sure he is capable of taking that next step.
“Dortmund are always clever with their transfers and I’m assuming if they lose Haaland, which looks likely, they will keep Bellingham for another year.

“That wouldn’t be a bad thing for Bellingham, it would be another year of experience.
“But if Haaland goes this summer I can’t see Bellingham going as well. That would be a huge blow to Dortmund.”
