Sources: Liverpool star Neco Williams undergoing Nottingham Forest medical after bid accepted
Nottingham Forest have scheduled a medical for Neco Williams as they finalise his transfer from Liverpool, sources have told Football Insider.
The Premier League new boys have upped their offer for the right-back, 21, to £16million after a late push from Southampton to beat them to a deal.
Williams is now put the finishing touches to a move to Forest and it is expected to be completed by the end of the weekend at the latest.

Forest are working on the signings of full-backs for both flanks as they are also in advanced talks to sign Omar Richards.
Football Insider revealed on Monday (4 July) that Forest had agreed personal terms with Williams but Liverpool’s valuation of £20m was a major stumbling block to a deal.
The newly-promoted Premier League club have now upped their offer for the Wales international after making him a priority target.
They are set to beat Southampton and Fulham to the capture of the in-demand defender.
The right-back has slipped down the pecking order at Liverpool, where Trent Alexander-Arnold is the established right-back and the club have just signed Calvin Ramsay, 18, for an initial £4m.

Williams played a big role for Fulham while on loan during the second half of the season, making 14 appearances as they cantered to promotion.
His contract at Anfield runs until the summer of 2025, which has emboldened the club to hold out for a big-money fee.
