Kieran Morrison's name might be heard a lot more at Anfield in the seasons to come if Andoni Iraola follows through on his plans.

It is already understood that the 19-year-old winger will be one of the young gems flying out with the rest of the senior team to the USA tour.

The Reds are set to face all of Sunderland, Wrexham, Leeds United, Monaco and Como over the new few weeks, leaving ample time to impress the new boss.

Of course, with Mohamed Salah no longer at the club, the right flank has been left vacant for players to battle it out, and that doesn't just mean experienced stars.

Those such as Conor Bradley and Rio Ngumoha have shown a clear route to the first team, and Morrison will be hoping to follow suit in the seasons to come.

With 14 goals and four assists for the Reds' Under-21s last term, the 19-year-old has more than enough talent to catch some attention on Merseyside.

What does the future hold for Kieran Morrison?

Morrison has actually already made his first-team debut, doing so against Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup all the back in October.

While it was a defeat in the fourth round, it would have been an incredible experience, one that he has Arne Slot to thank for.

Right now, all signs point towards a season-long loan for the tricky winger, with multiple Premier League, Championship and European sides registering an interest.

Having only recently signed a new deal at the club until 2030, there are very few concerns that he could leave permanently, but just in need of some consistent first-team action.

It is really no surprise to know that he already has several suitors. The youngster made his international debut for Northern Ireland just last month.

Liverpool's biggest academy success stories

Liverpool have produced some incredible talents over the years, dating all the way back to the likes of Jamie Carragher, Steven Gerrard and Michael Owen.

In more recent seasons, Trent Alexander-Arnold has been the biggest success story, though his legendary status was tarnished by a move to Real Madrid.

Curtis Jones, 25, could go on to be a big figure for Liverpool, but at the moment, it appears more likely than not that he seeks an exit.

It has become incredibly difficult for academy gems to break through at Premier League clubs, especially with so much pressure on every game, but Liverpool continue to discover new talents.
