Liverpool’s Szoboszlai, Jobe Bellingham react to Jude announcement at Real Madrid
Liverpool star Dominik Szoboszlai and ex-Sunderland ace Jobe Bellingham reacted to an announcement concerning England and Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham.
Los Merengues were busy recruiting from the Premier League before beginning their Club World Cup (CWC) campaign.
Dean Huijsen was a target for Liverpool before making the move back to Spain to join Madrid.
But the most eye-catching deal of the summer was undoubtedly Trent Alexander-Arnold’s decision to leave his boyhood club in favour of a move to the Bernabeu to link up with England teammate Bellingham.
And Los Blancos do not seem to be finished with their recruitment from the Premier League champions.
Ibrahima Konate has rejected a contract offer from Liverpool, amid links with a move to La Liga’s runner-up next year when his deal expires.

Jude Bellingham announced as Superior Player of the Match
With a pause being put on their insatiable appetite to sign the very best players the world has to offer, Madrid comfortably dispatched of Mexican side Pachuca.
Bellingham put in some underwhelming performances for England prior to the CWC, but the former Birmingham City midfielder ran the show for his club side in the USA.
Madrid shared an image of the 21-year-old holding his award aloft after the match on Instagram, captioned: “MVP”, and Szoboszlai and his younger brother Jobe liked the post.
Trent Alexander-Arnold an awkward fit for Real Madrid so far
Football Insider Verdict
Alexander-Arnold’s niche style of play is what makes him, at times, one of the world’s best.
His passing is truly unmatched and no other player has ever dictated the tempo of the game from right-back in the way he does.
But, in a team full of superstars who want to orchestrate the game, Alexander-Arnold’s abilities have yet to be unlocked in his first two appearances for Madrid.
Against Pachuca, Xabi Alonso used Federico Valverde as a right-winger ahead of him and whilst the Uruguayan’s all-action style allowed the ex-Liverpool man more space on the right flank, the two struggled to combine off the ball.
The Englishman has plenty of time to develop into Madrid’s system, but only time will tell if the decision to leave the Reds was the right one.
Elsewhere at Anfield, Ian Darke told Liverpool News that Darwin Nunez could join a Premier League club this summer.
