Look out Chelsea fans, Enzo Fernandez has already made his feelings clear over PSG move
Enzo Fernandez has always been linked with a Stamford Bridge exit, ever since Chelsea splashed £107million on him in 2023.
Since then, Moises Caicedo has taken over as Chelsea’s most expensive, though many will argue that Cole Palmer is more valuable to the Blues due to his numbers in the final third.
Of course, Liverpool broke the British transfer record with Alexander Isak, having done so already with Florian Wirtz, and it might be a while until we see those kinds of figures again.
However, after 145 appearances for the West London side, PSG are now eyeing a move for Fernandez [L’Equipe], despite the midfielder maestro still having five years left on his current deal.
Enzo Fernandez could soon leave Stamford Bridge
While his transfer fee speaks for itself, the 24-year-old’s time in West London has not always been a highlight, yet he continues to produce solid numbers from the middle of the park.
Already, he has nine goals and six assists in 37 games this season, but having struck up a relationship with Enzo Maresca, there is no telling how he might react to Liam Rosenior‘s arrival this month.
Unsurprisingly, the former River Plate man has already made his feelings clear about the Ligue 1 giants before facing PSG in the Club World Cup final during the summer.

Asked at the time whether Luis Enrique‘s side are the “best team in the world,” he hardly minced his words when offering an answer to a question that many players would take a few seconds to think about.
Chelsea’s rising star already has so much respect for PSG
Speaking to La Nacion, he said, “Today I think it is (the best team on the planet), they have achieved it in recent months, and their level of play has also been improving.”
Of course, the Blues would go on to lift the Club World Cup, thanks to goals from Palmer and Joao Pedro, but the Argentine only managed an hour before being replaced by Andrey Santos.
Fans will argue that Fernandez has so much more to offer in England, with only the Europa Conference League trophy to his name in terms of major accomplishments.
However, when PSG come knocking, it is already a difficult offer to turn down. And given the respect that the player has for the Champions League title holders, it might not be long until he makes the switch.
