‘Lucas Paqueta’s West Ham career is over’ after ‘shocking’ twist
West Ham fans want to see Lucas Paqueta for “any price” in the January transfer window following his performance against Liverpool.
The Hammers were thrashed 5-0 at the London Stadium by the Premier League leaders after goals from Luis Diaz, Cody Gakpo, Mohamed Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Diogo Jota.
West Ham’s eighth defeat of the season left Julen Lopetegui’s side 13th in the table after 19 games, and fans were quick to pinpoint Paqueta’s performance as an issue.
The 27-year-old failed to register a single shot on target while he was only accurate with half of his long balls.
Paqueta was caught offside once and was dispossessed three times, but he also struggled defensively.
The midfielder lost eight duels throughout the game and didn’t manage to win any aerial duels, with his performance leaving a lot to be desired.

Supporters claimed that Paqueta has been playing “awful” since January as they believe that he’s now “washed.”
The Brazil international has played 20 games this season in all competitions, scoring three times and accumulating six yellow cards.
