Luciano Becchio reminisces about time at Leeds in Instagram post

Luciano Becchino reminisced about his time at Leeds on Instagram on Tuesday morning, as he shared an image of himself in the Yorkshire giants’ kit.

The now 33-year-old spent five years at Leeds after joining them while they were in League One in 2008.

He was an important figure as they won promotion to the second tier as well as consolidating in the Championship with a return of 86 goals in 219 appearances before joining Norwich in the Premier League.

He is now currently plying his trade in the Spanish third division with Atletico Baleares, but he shared that he was still thinking about Leeds with an Instagram post on Tuesday.

Leeds fans returned the love to their ex-forward with Becchio considered a favourite among supporters.

He will now be watching on as Garry Monk’s team aim to win promotion back to the Premier League as he also shared a message to fans at Christmas.

The Yorkshire side are placed in fifth in the Championship table with a clear seven points between them and Norwich in seventh place.
