Luis Diaz: Pundit issues ‘remarkable’ Liverpool claim after ‘really special’ reveal
Kevin Campbell is stunned by the “remarkable” impact of Luis Diaz at Liverpool.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Arsenal and Everton striker said the 25-year-old’s performances have raised the levels of those around him.
Diaz has established himself as a regular for Jurgen Klopp’s side just two months after arriving from FC Porto.

Speaking to Sky Sports (22 March), Klopp described the Colombian winger’s impact at Anfield as “really special” and not far from a miracle.
The Reds boast the likes of Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah, Diogo Jota, Roberto Firmino and Diaz in attack now.
When asked by Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs for his thoughts on Diaz’s start, Campbell said: “Diaz’s start has been remarkable.
“There are not many players who could go to Liverpool and lift the level.
“Let’s be honest, he has been challenging the Manes and the Salahs of the team. The fact of the matter is, they came back from AFCON to Diaz starting. They’re sitting there watching and he has got the crowd on the edge of their seats.
“Straight away, that is a challenge for the likes of Mane and Salah. That is a massive challenge. Everyone’s level has been raised, especially in those forward positions. It’s lifted the whole club.
“It is remarkable. They’re now dangerous whoever plays.”

Diaz has scored twice in 12 appearances across all competitions for the Reds.
He is currently on international with Colombia.
