Luis Sinisterra facing extended spell out of Leeds United XI amid injury latest – pundit

Luis Sinisterra will struggle to break back into the Leeds United starting lineup on the evidence of Crysencio Summerville’s performance against Liverpool.

That is the view of former Arsenal and Everton striker Kevin Campbell, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the selection dilemma facing Whites manager Jesse Marsch.

Sinisterra was sidelined with a foot injury for the trip to Anfield on Saturday (29 October).

Summerville replaced the summer signing in the starting lineup and scored the winner in what was an impressive all-round display.

As quoted by Leeds Live (30 October), Marsch claimed Summerville, 21, has the potential to become “a big player” for Leeds.

Marsch also provided an update on Sinisterra’s injury, revealing the winger should be in training this week ahead of the visit of Bournemouth this Saturday (5 November).

When asked by Football Insider if Sinisterra would find it hard to break back into the Whites XI if Summerville maintains form, Campbell said: “Summerville looks very good.

“I really liked the look of him. He is non-stop and he is a handful. We saw that against Liverpool.

“I think Sinisterra is going to struggle to get back in on the evidence of that. It would only be right if he struggles to get back in.

“If someone is doing the business, no matter what their age, leave them alone. Let them get on with it, that is what I say.”
