Luke Shaw sends message to Amad Diallo after ‘unbelievable’ development
Man United defender Luke Shaw believes “the sky is the limit” for teammate Amad Diallo after his performance in their 2-1 Premier League win over Man City on Sunday (December 15).
The 22-year-old won a penalty and scored the winner within two minutes to secure a late come-back win for Ruben Amorim’s side at the Etihad.
Pep Guardiola’s side have fallen out of the Champions League spots after the defeat to their bitter rivals, sitting in fifth with 27 points from their opening six games, one point behind Nottingham Forest in fourth.
City have already lost two more matches than they did in the entirety of last season’s Premier League campaign, currently sitting on eight wins, three draws, and five defeats.
Diallo has come into his own since Erik ten Hag’s dismissal, starting 14 of his 23 games across all competitions, scoring four goals, and providing three assists in 1315 minutes of action.

Supporting his teammates from afar, Shaw took to Instagram to celebrate after the game, saying: “What a win!! The sky is the limit for this kid, he has everything. Unbelievable.”
